Course Description

Do you need to transport hazardous materials by rail? Take this course to learn about Part 174 of the Hazardous Materials Regulations, or HMR. You'll learn about the specific requirements to transport, handle, load and segregate hazardous materials for transportation by rail. This course is ideal for people who offer hazardous materials to be shipped by rail and for rail carriers. You may take this course alone, but remember to take the entire suite, in order, every 3 years to fulfill the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, or DOT.
